Embracing Her New "Home"

[Embrocity]

Small, quiet steps were taken as a black shadow moved across the way. It was wet all around, for it had just recently rained. It didn't bother the black female, at the moment. For water wasn't all to bad when it wasn't soaking your coat to your skin. So she liked it. The gloomy look all around made her feel slightly at home, anyways. Never wanted, a freak and weirdo for weird markings. So she was at home, away from home. Besides, home is where the heart lays, and she rather found the city Xyre a nice place to be.

Another small step was taken, and the black female let out a small mew of joy as the view of the gothic mansion had come into her sight. This was where she had planned to stay the night every day until she found one to travel with. She didn't want to be alone, and so staying here would ensure that she met another cat that she could hang with for awhile. Life would be good.

Picking her pace up once more, she entered the little hole that was barely large enough for a large cat, therefor entering the house.

Once inside, she felt a warm breeze hit her. It was still cold, just warmer than the outside had been. If the black cat could wag her tail, it would be going this very second. This place seemed like home, it did. One better than her past homes.

((Well, I still need to get used to her, so these posts will be sh*t.))

Walking down the street cold dark pavement, Mazarine thought, 'I need to find somewhere to stay! ITS FREEZING!!!!' walking quickly, jumping over cracks in the walk way, not paying attention to anything but the ground beneath her.

Then, she hit into something hard, mid-jump. Falling to the ground on her side, she looked up to see an extremely large box... Automatically she thought, 'A HOME!!!!!! THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN MY HOUSE!!!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!

She entered through a hole in one of the walls... warmth... Whats this? This place is huge!!! Woah! I think i'll just stay here now... I wont be cold anymore! She thought. There was ALOT of things and ALOT of place inside this giant "box" so much to learn, so much to explore. She loved it.

Walking away from the hole in the wall, she explored the room she was in. "THIS IS SO COOL!!

Darkness...Darkness...Darkness...There's no light but that coming through the dirty windows, and that light wasn't helping this darkness because of the clouds and dirt. Then a clap of thunder, and the pitter patter of the water slapping against the window, it was raining again... She was scared... then there was a movement across the room... "Hello?" Mazarine said shakily.

[Embrocity]

Embrocity leaned forward, sniffing at the small thing she saw infront of her. It was a pillow, or a used to be one. It had once been a gloreous velvetty red color, but was now a faded maroon, with large clumps of dirt covering the entire thing. It was large, square-ish, and had little danglies coming off from the edges. The little danglies were string, and seemed like a play-toy. Ooh, how fun!

Taking another sniff of the pillow, she breathed in a large amount of dust. She coughed, sending dust everywhere, making her breath it in again. This time she sneezed, falling backwards onto her rump. She sneezed again, clearing the anoying dust from her nostrils. Then she stood, sniffing quietly. "Glad that's over" She whispered to herself.

Then a small mew was heard, making Embrocity's head turn to the side. There, a small kitten stood, mewing out a small hello. Embrocity sent back her own mew of greeting, "Hi there..." She whispered it, almost rasped.

The small kitten seemed about eight to ten months old, at least. She was grey, a tabby most likely, with a small and nimble body. On her own, one could tell by her skinny body. If she could only tell her eye-color...

[Shinna]

"I'm Mazarine. Who are you?" The kitten replied.

'What am I doing??? What if its a bad thing and I end up being killed? Oh well not much to live for anyways since I was abandoned....' She thought, making sure to keep all these thoughts and wonders away from her eyes...She didn't want to seem as weak as she really was...

If only i could see more than the outline of it's body! Thoughts raced through her small head, all about the cat standing in front of her.... She circled this strange cat, thinking she might be able to get a better look at it in different angles of light, 'Well now we know its a black one, but i could've guessed that already!' Getting frustrated.... 'Okay...Calm down, being scared and frustrated isn't a good combination...don't want to give the wrong impression.'

After a moment longer of trying to figure out this random cat, she decided to give up and get a reply. I'm hungry..... She thought, as her belly grumbled.

[Embrocity]

"I'm Mazarine. Who are you?"

The small kitten seemed to piped out to her. Her voice seemed stronger, like she was unafraid of her, or trying to hide some kind of weakness. Well, atleast the small kitten was trying. It didn't matter whether she tried or not, though. An older cat-like Embrocity was-could tell the difference in a kitten's voice. Especially one that hadn't even grew up with parents. Not that Embrocity really knew that she hadn't...

She then watched as the small kitten began to walk around, apparently trying to find a position as to where she could look at the black cat. She was supposedly hard to see in the dark, seeing as she had a black coat. Well, she should get closer to the small kitten, hopefully she wouldn't be to afraid of her if she approached her.

"I'm Embrocity, small kitten." The black femme answered to her, mewing lightly in a small greeting. Then she turned her head, so she was looking at the tabby. She watched as she stopped moving, standing behind her. She then heard a small grumble as the kitten's belly grumbled. Probably hungry, poor cat.

"Mind if I may come over there, just to get a better look at you?" She asked, turning her body so she was facing the kitten. She took a small step forward, then halted, hoping that the kitten would allow her to get closer.

[Shinna]

"Mind if I may come over there, just to get a better look at you?"

Her mind raced with thoughts she couldn't even keep track of, it was like trying to listen to a child with ADHD read the dictionary....'What if she's a bad...WHAT IF THATS THE ONE THAT KILLED MY...my belly really hurts i'm really f**kin hun--FOCUS NOW! Hey, whats that sparkle over there? But what if its a bad caa---Could it make any difference I'm already right here....'

"Well I guess it wouldnt do any harm to let you. Then I can see you better also." She said, calmly, taking a step forward.

[Embrocity]

Embrocity stood there, stock still, nothing moving an inch except her tail. It twitched back and forth, swinging in the air lightly as she stood there, staring at the kitten. If she could see the kitten's eyes, she would be able to tell what the kitten was doing. For she was being quite silent, so she was either real scared, thinking on it, or just being silent to keep the black cat standing there for all eternity. Whatever it was, it seemed to have caught her attention, and made her stay there quietly.

"Well I guess it wouldnt do any harm to let you. Then I can see you better also."

The kitten calmly said to her, taking a step forward as well. Ahh, so she didn't mind if she came up and approached her. Now she could see the eye-color of the kitten and hopefully break the ice. Even if she was a kitten, it was nice to converse. Sometimes they weren't always the best of things to talk to when you were lonely, for they didn't always understand everything. But, by the way she was acting, this kitten seemed just a skill level above most. So she could, possibly, start a good conversation with her.

"Alright, just promise not to give me a weird look." Embrocity said, some-what being true but yet there was a joking tone in her voice. She didn't want to seem to sincere, but yet want to be sincere enough so the kitten didn't piss her off and make her run from yet another home. Always running from her problems.

Suddenly Embrocity was jogging across the floor, thumping against the hard wooden floor. She was next to the kitten in a moment, standing infront of her and towering over her small frame. She looked down, and noticed her blue eyes. How un-average for her type of cat. Gorgeous, though. On the small kitten.

Why in the world would I give you a weird look? You're...beautiful. Are those red spots natural? I like it alot. She said, admiringly.

'I still dont get why she would think I would give her a weird look, maybe because of her red spots and orange eyes.....Ooooooooooooooo orange eyes....She's really pretty! Wow...I wish my eyes were cool like that.... She thought while examining Embrocity, looking for any trace of any other color on her coat of fur...none.

Then she remembered, 'Wait! I've never seen anyone with orange eyes! Woah...That is so cool...'

"So what brings you here? Do you live here or are you just passing through like me?" Mazarine said, so they wouldnt be stuck talking about nothing.

[Embrocity]

Why in the world would I give you a weird look? You're...beautiful. Are those red spots natural? I like it alot.
Embrocity smiled some, looking at the small cat in front of her. Wow, so flattering. So the kittens thought she was beautiful, but all of the normal old kitties thought she was ugly and worthless. "Because red spots and orange eyes aren't nesecarily [sp?] the most beautiful thing in the world of cats." She asnwered the kittens question.

"Thank you for the compliment, I'm sure it'll be appreciated later on in my life, as well as right now." She said, smiling kindly at the kitten infront of her. A small purr began in the pit of Embrocity's throat, showing she was quite glad at the moment.

"They are natural, as natural as they can get at this point." She said, then took her seat, placing her rump on the hard-wood floor infront of the small and strangely talkative kitten. A rather nice one, at that.

"So what brings you here? Do you live here or are you just passing through like me?"

The kitten asked, apparently so they wouldn't be sitting there in silence. "Well, I'm just staying a few nights here in this mansion, then hopefully I'll go looking for a clan pretty soon. I've heard that theres one of them around here, led by some black cat with green eyes. But that's all that I've got on her." She said, looking at the small kitten... She would be here all alone if she left... Which, of course, made Embrocity feel pretty bad for leaving her only "friend". The nicest cat to meet her, and still continue liking her after the first few minutes of talking.

"Would you mind to come with me? We could travel together for awhile, until you get bored of me, that is." She offered, her voice kind and low.

[Tashii]

Sixx was strolling along the dark street on this Eerie day. A pounce in each of her steps. Dark days, with rain, and silence made her smile. She didn't know why, just something about children being utterly depressed not being able to play filled her with a joy. The toxic gleam in her eyes shone more brightly on these kinds of days. As Sixx passed the old mansion, something caught her eye. A path of small paw prints in the mud leading up to the mansion. Very Small paw prints. Probably belonging to a kitten. Sixx's smile quickly faded.
This was business.

Sixx slowly stalked up along the hill below the mansion.

Sixx approached a grimy window. Although very hard to see anything through them, plus the added darkness, she knew someone had to be in there. Sixx perked her ears to listen for a voice, or any sign of movement. A soft and faded voice came from behind the outside wall it spoke softly to Sixx's ears and what she could make out sounded like,

'Would you mind to come with me? We could travel together for awhile, until you get bored of me, that is.'

Sixx slowly drew back from against the mansion wall. Yep, there was definitely someone in there. What really puzzled Her mind was, that definitely wasn't a remark a person would make if talking to one's self. Where there two cats lurking inside the house? Where there more? Sixx's face curled into a soft smirk as she glided towards the hole in the wall. Time for some fun. She had a little plan scheming in her head.

Sixx pushed her sleek, and slightly damp self through the hole in the Cracked wall. She sneaked up against the wall the darkness around her blending with her soft coat. She didn't want her eyes to glow and give away her position so she held her head low and looked out of the ground. She needed to know where, and what she was dealing with so out of the corner of her eye she looked around scanning every detail.

Ah ha! She found it. One single ray of light glinted off of someone's eye and gave it away. She could hear a soft purr and could smell only two different scents. There were two of them. Good...She needed more light for what she planned on doing next. Luckily Sixx had been here more times than anyone could possibly count. She slowly and quietly stepped up on a chair that sat right next to a dusty table and lamp. Sixx stood on her hind legs momentarily to use both her front paws to grab the dangling light switch.

The room Light suddenly, just as Sixx has got into a sweet little pose with her head looking away from the two cats that now stood in front and below her.

^{Tell me why you have entered my mansion uninvited. Tell me what is your name, and lastly tell me what you intend to do to make up for your crime?}[/color][/sup]

Sixx spoke boldly but never looked up until after these words spoken. She had seen like she predicted a kitten. A grey tabby with outstanding blue eyes. Also a very odd black female with vibrant orange, almost glass eyes and the most gorgeous red spots around her eye. She slowly lifted her head her Acid, Poison, and Harsh eye glaring upon them both. Slowly and menacingly she once again smirked.

Like i said before. Dark days make her smile.

Mazarine looked at the black cat examining her, 'What the hell? Are all the cats here black with an awesome pair of eyes? Jesus Christ! I've never seen eyes like that...I don't think thats natural....Whats wrong with it?! What do I say to it? What if its going to kill us? d**nit i dont wanna die...or do I? I just made a friend! Speaking of friend, what should I say to that magnifecent offer? I dont even know her well...What if she's pretending to be my friend to get close to me then kill me? What if this new cat is going to do the same? .......' Again with the ADHD thinking....

She thought and thought and thought if it was a good or bad idea to speak for herself or to let the older, more experienced cat beside her speak. 'I've been alone so long, I've been so brave lately, I think that I can at least talk to this cat.'

"Well, I've come here for shelter for a day or two, as there is no other 'welcoming' place. My name is Mazarine, may I ask yours? And lastly, I will do nothing to make up for this so called 'crime' I am no servant of yours, and I'm not about to act like one, so you sir or mam or whatever you are, may screw off."[/color] She said, boldly and bravely to this rather rude cat, then turning to Embrocity she mewed softly "Is that the cat you were talking about? What a coincidence that it would come visit right while your talking about it. Oh and, yes I will come with you, there's no where else to go, and I'm definitally not staying in this house for too long, so I'll gladly go with you."[/color]

Quite proud of herself she stood, ADHD thinking still, waiting for a reply.

[Embrocity]

Before the small kitten had time to answer her question, another cat entered the scene, leaping onto a chair and flipping on the light. She then had turned to the two who were already on friendly terms, and asked them what they had been doing on "her turf" and what they would do to make up "their crime".

Embrocity took a step forward, ready to defend the small kitten she was with. She was just about to answer her question when suddenly the small grey tabby behind her piped up, apparently unafraid of the other black cat they were around.

"Well, I've come here for shelter for a day or two, as there is no other 'welcoming' place. My name is Mazarine, may I ask yours? And lastly, I will do nothing to make up for this so called 'crime' I am no servant of yours, and I'm not about to act like one, so you sir or mam or whatever you are, may screw off." "Is that the cat you were talking about? What a coincidence that it would come visit right while your talking about it. Oh and, yes I will come with you, there's no where else to go, and I'm definitally not staying in this house for too long, so I'll gladly go with you."

The small kitten answered her question, and yelled at the other cat. Embrocity took her turn next, "I will do nothing, for this land is unclaimed. If you had wished to claim it, then you should have done so and we wouldn't have come here. We will be staying for up to a day, whether you like it or not." She said, then turned to the kitten. "It is a weird coincidence [sp]. We'll leave once it stops raining to find some shelter." She said, then looked back to the female cat, ready to fight back and defend the small kitten if she decided to attack.

[Tashii]

Sixx was not happy about this at all. She sat in awe for a few moments. Her tail Flickering back and forth in pure Anger. She slowly lifted her head and the little sun coming in through a crack in the ancient wall it her eye rather violently. Sixx Slowly bent down, she got closer the kitten avioding the other who had seemed to be trying to defend the young one. Sixx stared deeply into the kitten's eyes wanting to stangle all life living inside her. Her breath was light on the kitten's fur. Steadily, slowly, almost calmly Sixx let the words spill from behind her razor fangs.

You. . . are in no position to tell me to "screw off".[/color] Sixx took a deep breath then after a few moments spoke once again.

My Calling is Sixx. I lead these lands. Although this land may be said to be unclaimed. . .[/color]Sixx glanced at the other Cat who stood not to far away.

. . .my family has owned this whole territory since before any of us were even imagined.[/color]Sixx took yet another moment and then coldly replied.

Its been a long time since anyone has spoken to me the way you two have done. Actually its been a long time since anyone has even spoken to me. Yet I am not lonely. Seeing as you two have plans to go somewhere i will do nothing to harm you. I will say however if you do not intend to leave you will not live peacefully. You only have two choices in this town. Leave or hope for acceptance from me. . .If you wish however, you may stay with me in my home. There you have much less of a chance of starving, freezing or being found by a human.

Sixx had changed her whole mood. Instead of deadly and furiated. She was welcoming these two to come with her into her home, maybe even her pack. Sixx couldn'y understand why but there was something about these two that left a controlling joy inside of her.

[Shinna]

"I can tell you whatever I wish to tell you, Sixx, you don't control me. I'll also consider your offer of staying" She said boldly back to Sixx.

'What should I do? Should I stay or should I go? I wont starve here, I wont get cold, theres tons of reasons! But how can I trust this cat? How can I trust Embrocity? What should I do? This is so confusing...Who should I trust? Maybe I should go on my own....NO! Not again...I'd rather die than be alone again.' Thought raced through her head, as usual...No clue what to do.

She looked at the ground, thinking. Mazarine leaned over to Embrocity and softly mewed "What are you going to do? Didn't you say you were looking for her? So should we just stay?"[/b][/size]

[Embrocity]

In amusement, Embrocity watched the female as she twitched her tail in annoyance. She slowly then leaned forward, going closer to the kitten, the anger and fury were clearly seen in her acid green eyes. She seemed to have also been ignoring the black female with the orange eyes, and that bothered her a bit. The kitten was her only friend, and the female seemed to be more furious towards her bursting outgoing-self. Slowly then, she began to talk,

You. . . are in no position to tell me to "screw off".

Embrocity let a small, quiet, and nearly unheard growl come from the depths of her throat. She lifted a small dainty paw into the air, and took a step forward, tail twitching with annoyance and eyes watching the Queen closely.

My Calling is Sixx. I lead these lands. Although this land may be said to be unclaimed. . .

A small breath was given before she had spoken once more. Then once she was done, she glanced over to Embrocity, and she slowly returned the stare. No disrespect, just to stand her ground. Try to be strong for both her and the kitten. Like an influence.

She paused yet again, then began to continue slowly.

A small flick was given from the ebon female's ear as she heard what the adult Queen was saying. Slowly she put her paw down, intense eyes slowly losing their strength as Embrocity lowered her head from staring. This was the female she had come to get acceptance from, and the way she and the kitten had been acting, that would ruin her chanced of being accepted by anyone, and lower her chance of survival. d**n the female.

"Fine." She spat slowly, her tail still twitching and her head swerving to look towards the ground. "I will come with you, Sixx. Though I cannot speak for the kitten, she is not of my own blood-line."

Slowly, then, she turned back to Mazarine. Just then the kitten leaned closer to her, mewing lightly into her ear as she did so. "What are you going to do? Didn't you say you were looking for her? So should we just stay?"

With a small, yet glee-filled smile, she replied to the small and partially innocent creature, more play than serious in her tone this time. "We should stay, Mazarine. We would only die out there, and this is really our only chance of survival at the moment." With a small nudge to the kitten's rump, she stepped forward once more, nodding to the kitten and allowing her to say what she pleased to the female. She would make the final decision.
